Breastfeeding Success (BFS) is offering the Belly to Birth: Your Childbirth Journey class virtually with a LIVE instructor.

PLEASE NOTE:  While BFS can not guarantee that class costs will be covered by your particular insurance plan, your insurance might cover the cost of this service.  

Use Registration Code VERIFYINSURANCE if you have Aetna, United, Blue Cross Blue Shield, HealthSmart or HEB Blue Cross Blue Shield, or ARC Employee Health Plan. 

Using this code means we will submit the claim to your insurance company. If the claim is rejected, you will be billed after the class and are responsible ONLY for costs not covered which will not exceed the $160 self-pay class fee.

From Belly to Birth is a 10 hour comprehensive childbirth course that prepares families for the childbirth journey. 

In this class we will cover: 

• Physiology, anatomy, and the stages of labor. 
• How to know you're in labor.
• When to go to the hospital and what to bring with you. 
• Coping strategies to minimize pain, discomfort, and stress including movement and position options, breathing techniques, relaxation methods and mindfulness. 
• Birth options, complications, and decision making. 
• Medical pain coping and available interventions and procedures. 
• What to expect at the hospital. 
• Induction
• Cesarean birth
• Postpartum recovery

If you need to cancel your class, we request that you notify us as soon as possible so that others who are on the waiting list might have an opportunity to attend the class.  We cannot refund unless the cancellation is made at least 3 business days prior to the start of the class.  The classes rarely cancel but we reserve the right to cancel if there is not adequate enrollment.  In this event, an attempt will be made to place you in another class, or you will receive a refund.

In this class, you will learn about physiology, anatomy, and the stages of labor. We will explore coping strategies, complications, options, and decision making. You will know what real labor is and when to leave, and find out how to prepare your physical and emotional bodies for your birth. Childbirth is is a rite of passage, a time of discovery.
