Breastfeeding Success (BFS) is offering the Baby Basics: Breastfeeding and Newborn Care class as a live virtual class or in-person at Providence Hospital or one of our Austin, TX Breastfeeding Success outpatient clinics.

PLEASE NOTE:  While BFS can not guarantee that class costs will be covered by your particular insurance plan, your insurance might cover the cost of this service.

PLEASE NOTE: Ascension SmartHealth and UNITED plans DO NOT cover costs for virtual classes.

Using this code means we will submit the claim to your insurance company. If the claim is rejected, you will be billed after the class and are responsible ONLY for costs not covered which will not exceed the $80 self-pay class fee.

Join us for a fun and informative class to get you prepared for breastfeeding and caring for your new little bundle. This class combines the information from our Breastfeeding 101 AND Newborn Care 101 classes. 

During this interactive and engaging class we will cover:

• What to expect in the first few days
• What to expect during engorgement
• Milk production explained - establishing and maintaining supply
• How to know that things are going well and when to ask for help
• Understanding and overcoming common breastfeeding challenges

• Newborn sleep 
• Diapering
• Bathing
• Soothing

Our in-person classes are limited in size and fill up quickly. There will be a $25 cancellation charge for no-shows unless the cancellation is made at least 3 business days prior to the start of the class or if the site cancels the class.

And then we take the baby home!  We will make sure your most burning questions are answered, share important knowledge and skills , and help you prepare to take on a very challenging and fulfilling new job, parenthood.
