Bring your baby and a partner and join us for a fun, informative, and relaxed class.

Infant Massage is a great way to bond with your baby.  And it can be powerful medicine! There is evidence showing that babies in the NICU who were massaged had shorter hospital stays, slightly better scores on developmental tests and slightly fewer complications. It can also be a very useful parenting tool.  When we incorporate touch and massage into our daily family routines, things can feel structured while staying relaxed and enjoyable.

During the class you'll learn about the MANY benefits of infant massage, where and when to offer massage to your baby, what oils to use and LOTS of hands-on techniques and strokes for the baby's feet, legs, hands, arms, back, chest, tummy, head and face. Massage is a wonderful way to soothe and calm your baby, create routines in your daily parenting life, and bond and connect with your baby through touch.

Infant massage may also....

  • Help your baby sleep deeper and longer
  • Provide relief from gassy spells
  • Lessen episodes of colic
  • Increase muscle tone which is important for suckling skills
  • Provide relief from teething pain
  • Promote relaxation for you and your baby

This class is great for parents, grandparents, and caregivers with babies under one year of age.

Partners are welcome and encouraged to attend with you. No additional registration necessary.
